I think I’ll keep my powder dry until after 2q earnings season

Point taken, but I don’t remember anyone around me having said that there was much more downside to go.
This is a 2008 repeat. Stimulus, aid, whatever you want to call it will just be a bank bailout by any other name, because they loaned to enable mal-investment.
Of it does bounce back as it did then, I don’t think the bounce will last anywhere near as long. Timeframes are compressed.

So, how are you going to feel when you get it? Because IMO the odds are that you WILL get it. I am going to gut it out, as I do everything. I worry for my older mother, who has always to me seemed to have been weak. Also some old family in Europe, also some older friends I have stateside.
I told you: this will be a big deal. I hope they can manage to keep the electricity, heat, and water all going. That stuff not essential for me personally, but essential for civil society.
It’s like the Star Trek Voyager episode where they all just had to stand around while the time distortion unstoppably passed over them. Tomorrow I am readying our bugout kit, by next week I might be gone. No kidding.
Lots of people in Hong Kong didn't get it. Because they took it seriously and didn't give up. They wear masks so it doesn't spread. The masks prevent people who have it from spreading it. Unbelievable the response here. Oh, most people will get it. So disappointed.
Yes. Everyone should be wearing masks while in company.
We are responding somewhat, lots of schools are closing—but individual behavior will be our downfall. Lots of colossally stupid/ignorant/oppositionally-defiant moronsnin the US, who regularly do things that are not in even their own interest to do. They cannot be counted upon for socially beneficial behaviors—quite the contrary, some will no doubt spread it intentionally.
Amazing how quickly this is likely to both balloon, and fade.
“...who do NOT do things...”
Bad sentence structure. Tired.
Euro markets down over 5% on Thursday.
Again.
Setting up for a rough day again.
Judging by the europeans stocks, the dow jones is going to plummet.
The bottom is likely months off. There's probably another dead cat bounce tomorrow, but the trend will continue.
I just dumped the last few equities I held.
No sense losing more and more $$
A thought for the people who invested in america airline, boeing and others.
The Bull Market is over. Years of speculation dying quickly, the reset will linger for years.
