The bonus is that no one expects any progress, so a surprise would catch the shorts on their back foot. And Trump would claim a massive victory, a much needed victory. Even if he's lying through his teeth about it.
Anyone who holds over this weekend is either literally retarded or has hands stronger than God. Or has enough money to straddle both sides appropriately.
I think the market is expecting a "deal" to be made. That "deal" will of course consist of nothing but Trump will claim victory (much like North Korea). This is an interesting battle because it's a face-off between Trump's ego (he wants to make a deal and be seen as a savior) and his own severe incompetence (no further qualifier needed). Truly an unstoppable force vs an immovable object.
