Haile Fan,
I think our Federation does that intentionally to psych people out..especially Kenyans. Runningm as you know, is very much a mind game too.

Ethio,
I saw it scheduled to be aired at 12:35a.m. - eastern. They are crazy...but I guess we are crazier because we'll watch it! ;)
what time do you expect them to show it, prime time? that would be crazy. maybe your mommy will let you stay up past your bedtime to watch.
Vipiam,
I disagree. Defar had a very rough patch in June July when she was blown to pieces in Addis.. She dropped out of the 5000 a race won by Melkamu. Melkamu dropped her.. But the next day she came back and won the 3000...
she is very inconsistant. One day up the next day down. I think you will see her drop a 14:3X soon...
14:40 in Rome last year and she bombed at worlds.
whatever it is we will never know about it because the western media treats african athletes like dogs.. they never interview and ask them useful questions..
Its always.. oh she trains with kenenisa and she has a good kick..
Well tell us some more you f'n fools.. the Afrcan medai is even worse.. Western Media is slightly better
Who knows what might have happened?
Ethiopian Summary,
I really did not have any inside info:) I knew, however, how good Defar is. She is also polite and very nice.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
