The fact is, sir, that 40 to 45 million real Americans who legally own handguns probably disagree with Symmonds' viewpoint. Use that stuff to wash your own mouth; Im not calling anyone names.
Not sure just which side of the argument you're complaining about.
What I am alluding to is this tendency of Symmonds to think he is the poster child for extolling political views just because he's a semi-successful middle distance runner. He's alot like those Hollywood types who think that playing a role in a movie suddenly makes them an expert on everything. In truth he only shows his ignorance on various subjects, as he simply regurgitates whatever politically correct viewpoint is out there, rather than enganging in critical thought and intelligent discourse. For a gun owner to promote anti-Constitutional "gun control" is akin to a Jewish person extolling the benefits of Naziism.
It wouldn't suprise me to find he only has a double digit IQ.[/quote]
I'm not a Symmonds fan and agree on his IQ, but I know a number of gun owners who believe in gun control. Gun owners that I'd be willing to bet spend much more time using their guns (hunting) than most who have a literal interruption of the 2nd Amendment.
