there will be no pedestrian pace. Mo Farah has never hit 4600 faster than 11:59 in his life, and he's not capable of faster than 12:10 now.

Rop, Soi, Gebrhiwet and Alamirew will get there in 11:55 and then sort things out amongst themselves. Gives each a 75% shot at a medal.

He did outkick Farah, who needless to say, has 3:28 1500 speed. He has the wheels and the stamina, that is why he will win Worlds 2013 (unless Lagat can get his hip taken care of). At an extreme pedestrian pace, my money is on Ryan Hill.

Yes, he felt good enough to race, but being sick obviously meant he wouldn't be at top form. The fact that he got 2nd in that race beating a top of top guys is incredible considering.

Are you saying the 12:20 in Birmingham was an improvement, or are you Ventolin? 3:28 doesn't mean sub-13 fitness. It means 3:28.

Mo's 5000 fitness is at best his SB of 13:05, and more likely the more recent 13:14. What he can do for 3 3/4 laps is irrelevant. In fact it shows he's focusing on speed not strength and is even less likely to go sub-13 than a month ago.

Faster over 3000m+ than any AMERICAN ever born...that's a fact.
