Farah is a 5k/10k guy who just ran a 3:28 1500. He'd have no problem breaking 12:50 in a TT.
Farah can't be beat in a fast or slow race."
Sick, whatever. That Salazar-quoting article was obviously laying it on pretty thick, as Salazar is wont to do whenever one of his athletes doesn't have an A-1 race. Was Farah sick? Yes I'm sure he was, but the fact is that he felt fine enough to race, so how sick was he really? Daniel Komen set world leading times with Malaria! The fact is that Farah lost to Soi, you can make excuses if you want.
P.S. Farah would have no trouble breaking 12:50 in a time trial? Farah has trouble time trialing, period. So don't count your chickens before they hatch.
Yes, he felt good enough to race, but being sick obviously meant he wouldn't be at top form. The fact that he got 2nd in that race beating a top of top guys is incredible considering.
I'd say being sick before the race is a valid excuse, but whatever. Haters gonna hate.
Yes, Farah would have no trouble breaking 12:50. He's a 5k/10k guy with 3:28 speed. Absolutely no reason why he couldn't.
No excuses, just results!
