A good rule of thumb when reading through pages upon pages of garbled letsrun doping speculations: Anyone who thinks Farah is "obviously doped" but does not feel the same way about Rupp has absolutely no credibility in the conversation.

cram was commentating for BBC on the race. It was clear from the coverage thats not at all what he was implying. Before the race there was talk of him wanting the UK record but Cram simply didnt expect it to happen like most of us.
on the other hand when makhloufi won gold he was pretty damn skeptical about the performance and hinted more than a little bit that he didnt think it was a clean performance
Cram's a drug believer, took drugs and thinks anyone who runs as fast as he did has to be on drugs like he was.
ran wide a lot & often detached to get proper drafting to bell
then unsurprisingly said 1st lap was
"shock to system"
which is no surprise at all from
shoot-him-at-dawn for-incompetence
52.95
from wabbitt !!!
mo maya been nearer 3'28-flat shape in ideal race, so i don't know why cram is bitching
his record was hugely hammered & probably mo shouda gone + 3/4s quicker if it was set-up his race

Do white people in Great Britain get as upset about black immigrants getting national records as white Americans do?
Why do you assume Farah is an immigrant? Because he's black?
Cram's comment as Mo finished "And Mo Farah, as I stand and commentate, may well have just broken my British record for 1500 meters"

Umm probably because he was born in Somalia - where his twin still lives.

Umm, his father was born and raised in London. He's British.
Is anyone able to post the BBC coverage of the other distance events from Monaco? Thanks!
Did anyone even read the rest of the article?
"I am shocked in a great way," said Cram, who was commentating on the race for BBC Sport.

I just think it must be really tough to commentate on a race when it's your record that's getting beaten. He did a good job considering he was probably quite shaken up as he's held that one a long long time.
I remember when Colin Jackson lost his record and Jonathon Edwards gets nervous anytime someone looks like vaguely attacking his.
good call vert. i.e. the 328. i had moe at 329 high at best.
now with ideal pacing, more like 327!! and kirop a WR. elG was actually good for 324 in any event.
coe could have been in the 324 club but he ran the 8. he was ttuned for 1km and gassed a bit after 1.2k. also he drafted badly and ran in lane 2 a lot, had bad pacing.
cram does know things we don't but he ain't no rocket scientist. don't ask him to be a whiz on the computer or calculator.
but you don't need to be a rocket scientist to know that when a guy can run sub 51 400m finish plus number 1 at 5k does point to something really great at 1.5 K which we saw.
so learn up grasshopper naysayers, sharpen that IQ
Just when I didn't think I could be more impressed by Mo, he does it again.

Mostly no, because mostly we aren't ignorant morons.
He is British.
I've never heard any talk about it being an issue.

no
mo's highly unlikely to ever go better than yesterday for 1500, maybe a few tenths if he moved solely to 1500
and kirop a WR
still long way to go
may dip into 3'26s eventually
elG was actually good for 324 in any event
no
maybe high-3'25
coe could have been in the 324 club but he ran the 8
no
i couda see him dipping into the 3'27s if he had been a full-time 1500 guy but no way 3'24

Mo Farah doesn't have the wheels of Coe, but his strength truly embarasses the Coe training philosophy.
Mo Farah would not beat Coe in a championship non-rabbited race.
Are you kidding? Coe is like 56 years old or something. Farah would crush him

I don't believe it was anywhere near clear that he was implying anything.
I watched the video and did not know Cram was one of the commentators until he said Farah broke his UK record and did not get the slightest inkling he was implying anything
Krackerman, you're not playing the LRC game right, you have to come here and accuse any runner you don't like of cheating. And to do that you get to lie and post false statements about what others said etc.

Eh no.
If you were born and raised in USA but your mother was born in Germany, you would be an American with German genes, not a German.
Jeez, you and J.R are the worst trolls in here.
He moved to Britain when he was 8. I would hardly call that "raised." Heck, might as well call Tim Tebow Filipino.

Show some respect. You think Cram sits online and read predictions by an autist who is wrong 8/10 times?
Ventolin is not wrong 8/10 times
It is just that idiots do not understand what he is saying
When he gives a line of fit, it is for a PERFECT race.
I.e., perfect pacing, perfect rabbiting/drafting, cool conditions, etc
In reality these things do not always line up
But when they do, you see a performance like you saw yesterday
Or when Cain when 4:03ish way back when (a time he also called)
Kudos to Mo! Alberto taking Mo & Galen for sessions with John Smith & Michael Johnson in the past is now paying off
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
