I think he just blew it. He just ran 12:51 on a warm, humid evening. Now he has to recover and be ready to repeat this performance in Moscow in an event with heats.
I think if they had waited for Moscow and done this, they might have pulled it off. But now Salazar has seen their hand, and they are going to need a different one. I don't think Soi will be ready in time to pull a Jeilan.
Coaxh, IT DOESN'T MATTER.
Mo Farah's personal best was 12:53 two years ago.
I don't think with three weeks, anything much will happen in terms of training.
The Kenyans-Kipkoech, Lomgosiwa, Koech and Soi, assuming they all make it to the finals need to make things hot.
They need to work together to remove the sting out of Mo's legs and if they can come to the bell at around twelve or thereabout, the playing (or running field) will be just about even.
Mo Farah will only be shaken with very fast tactics.
Afterall, he will have run the 10k and that should play in his opponents' hands.
Albert Rop, what a guy!
I feel bad that he is running for Bahrain.
I hope he doesn't end up like Turkey's William Ilhan Ozbilen Tanui.
What a disappointment!
