Did the meet organizers kick Jeter out or did Jeter DNS on her own accord?
I applaud Simon Hart for asking the question. As a self-respecting journalist, when you are at a press conference, and being told that you cannot ask a question on a very pressing issue with the main protagonists in front of you, you have two choices: you either ask that question at the earliest opportunity, or you walk out of that charade. I hope Wejo would have done exactly the same.

Actually, troll, tosser isn't a homophobic slur. Hes used those before, but in this case A Duck is simply showing off that hes lived outside of America.

Relatedly, I saw a couple of interviews yesterday with Gatlin and am impressed with his intelligence and openness. He's quite a likeable guy and I agree with his views, except the one that Wada is doing a good job. The only job they're doing is trying to brainwash people and promoting the drugs.
Apart from the idiotic doping sentence at the end there, I completely agree. A guy like Gatlin with his past should be easy to dislike, and he has at times with his silly "pistolero" crap and saluting like a soldier, but the past years, especially this year, his shown to be very likeable.
Not being afraid to meet the best, not being afraid to answer questions like these..listen and learn Jeter.

I wish they would ask me questions about doping.

J.R, what do you think about steroids?

Haha, you said my post was meaningless and right after that you're asking me for advice, hahahaahaa.
No silly boy, you wanted a question and I trew you a bone. Its for my own and others amusement to see you try to explain how steroids do not work.
I'm still waiting for that, make my day.

Oh I'm a Gatlin fan already, now that I've seen him on video. Before that, since I don't watch sprinters, I didn't know who he was.
As to wada, I'd have them jump off a cliff.
Haha...your trolling never ends. Everyone who watches track knows who Gatlin is, give us a break. Take a week off this crap.
What would happen if an athlete answered the question in sarcasm and listed off several steroids they have tried but are still working on finding the right one for them that seems to get the desired result? If they are clean and the interviewer wants to waste their time with irrelevent questions for them, can they get by with wasting the interviewers time? They've more than likely been tested regularly without negative results and wouldn't be afraid to be under any more scrutiny than they already are. Or is this like the airport thing where you don't mention certain words like gun or bomb without getting hauled off and shook down in some closet? Sounds like something some smart a$s like Symmonds would do.

There's nothing so sad as a mind that is closed.
SAFP was not confused at all. Jeter left during the 3rd steroid question, once the question was finished. SAFP waited 30 seconds and then followed Jeter leaving the press conference.

No, I have not used homophobic slurs before, and you are right, "tosser" is equal opportunity degradation.
Nice try at humor tho. Weak.

Of course you're a fan of him J.R.
He is a drug cheat
We all know how big a fan you are of drug cheats

You really don't know the difference between a tosser and a salad tosser?
You really are a dumb, out-of-touch old man, aren't you.
And you recently randomly told a poster he "probably hangs out on Grindr" in a derogatory way so obviously you are a homophobe.
Get help.

Read this and maybe you'll understand what I am talking about.
There was a parallel thread on trackandfieldnews.com on this topic and now its gone, not just locked. Who knows what led to it being pulled?
