I definitely don't think it will be a bad year for the Midwest. In fact, I think it will be a battle between West and Midwest, with the West coming out on top. South 3rd and NE last. South lost a lot but will surely have some Texans not listed above step up and get them 3rd.
YOU ALL ARE SLEEPING ON A RUNNER FROM THE SOUTH REGION THAT IS TRAINING TO CLOSE IN A SUB 4 MILE. YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST. FADL ULLAH LIVES ON.
Patrick Gregory will win the Nationals meet.
If he doesn't it is a bit of a let down. the kid has it made!!!!
Training with Jacob Thomson for the last 2.5 years and has one of the best coaches in all of the land (not his HS coach, but a personal coach from what I hear).
A little banged up this track season, but he is ready to roll as long as those stress fractures and shin splints stay away.
south is doomed
Templeton is a tool and can't win
Mcquinish has talent but no desire/work ethic
if Gregory is training with Thompson this summer he will be tough to beat came fall.
Gregory seems like a smart kid, wonder where he will go to college; Ivys for the education? or a biggest name program to pursue his running career?
Either way, I can't see him not being top 5 at Foot Locker
wait. nevermind, Foot Locker is a joke, all the good runners go to NXN. This board is irreverent
Sarah Baxter
Haney will be the first American to win since 2007.

You're irrelevant.

I can see a lot of ways that Gregory wouldn't be top 5 at Footlocker.
I think it's too early to make any real "sleeper predictions." From what milesplit has told me, Gregory could be top 5 at regionals, but will be a lot harder pressed to finish top 5 at nationals...
Top 5 at nationals (depending on whether they go to nxn or footlocker)
1. Blake Haney
2. Aaron Templeton
3. Joe Hardy
4. Elijah Armstrong
5. Conner Mantz
I don't see how you all are missing Jacob Thomson from South. He ran 4:06 and and 8:48 this spring. The race is his to lose.
Look out for Grant Fischer from michigan

I'm embarrassed that you're on a running website
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
