I think this is my point. Runner was recruited by two distance coaches that are now gone and the rumor is they are bringing in a sprint head coach. The current distance coach, an unpaid assistant until this year, is apparently going to follow the head coach that is leaving. Complete upheaval in the ranks.
Yeah, it is common knowledge that you sign with the school and not the coach, but heck the kids wants to go to a distance centric school. And the assistant distance coach, who actually recruited him left 3 months ago.
Is there a way to contact other schools without asking for a release from a D1 school?
Also sounds like of the top distance runners are following the head coach.
