Isn't there some sort of wrongful termination suit she could file?
If I tried to fire a minority from my company for saying something I didn't like, I'd have so many lawsuits filed against me my head would spin.

You don't own a company.
Kind of a strange question, because you are suggesting that someone can only be fired if they do something illegal? People are fired all the time, for many reasons. I'd say most of those fired aren't doing anything illegal.
Sooooo...you can't fire anyone unless they do something illegal? Is that your contention?
Because white people are discriminated against daily in the USA.
Blacks can do/say virtually anything they want to a white, they can literally beat you on the street and unless a video camera catches it, you are screwed!! Whether you fight back or not, they will simply say you said the 'N Word', and you will lose the court case, your career, your income, probably your home.

Try firing a black person without massive documentation about them doing something illegal! It's not going to happen. I hear black people saying stuff that i find offensive all day. No one is going to fire them. Companies are terrified of a discrimination lawsuit.
The United States is rapidly politically-correcting itself out of existence. Very sad to witness our own demise.
Apparently you have not read the whole story but again biased people do not need the whole story to be biased
She is being sued by a JEWISH lady who was Deens (not Dean) former employee for sexual and racial harassment and whatever. This allegation and other more serious ones are the reason she has been dropped by many companies.
People are focusing on what she said 27 years ago, forgetting the more serious allegations for now. Once more she is being sued by a Jewish former employee not a black employee.
Food network took this opportunity to fire her because her ratings had been dropping (read the WSJ)... and if walmart dropped her you know there is more than meets the eye.

Black people get fired all the time without doing anything illegal. What's that have to do with the OP's thoughts on Paula being fired for actions legal?

She's not an employee of any of the sponsors that are dropping her. In some cases (Food Network) she was likely a private contractor, so there's nothing she can do.
I've boycotted the food network, walmart, and MSNBC the last few months.
Deen wasn't fired. Her contract wasn't renewed.
How could she sue for wrongful termination when she wasn't terminated to begin with? Neither party is obligated to sign a new contract when the old one expires.
Because saying the magical N word is evil for whites to do it!

They may be fired, but unlike other races you had better as the other poster stated, if you fire a black you had better have months of documentation. For example, after months of documenting a black employee who was chronically late for work or who did not show up at all, she was finally let go. After an extensive interview process, the best candidate happened to be a white woman, so we hired her. The black employee immediately sued. Our company attorney scolded me and said I should have known better. I could not select the best candidate, I had to select the best "black" candidate or there would be an immediate lawsuit. Many people are very naive - and that used to include me - as to human resource policies.

Business owners are not slaves to employees.
Sexual harassment? Is Paula Dean gay?

Paula is not gay, but you are stupid.
Here is the thing, she and her brother, and now her son are being sued as owners of the establishment. It is claimed like Paula's brother was watching porn at work (really sad, if you are Paula's bro in Savannah you could get almost any you wanted) and other stuff. Go read the legal stuff on the internet.
