I am going away for a running vacation and have a crazy idea to do back-to-back races: 5k on Saturday and Half Marathon on Sunday.
The HM is my A-race, and based on my workouts, a PR is certainly possible (low 1h20s).
The 5k race is tempting given it will be held at beautiful, fast course
If I run the 5k race at tempo pace, do you think is there sufficient time to recover to run the HM (at PR pace) on the next day?
