Too, collegians only had three years of eligibility when Lindgren was competing in the NCAAs. As a big time D1 coach with insider information, I know.

OK, I will give it to you. Lawi Lalang is the best ever MALE runner trying to get to the same level of the best of all NCAA runners.

Seriously, give it up. Lawi is a good runner, maybe he'll go on to become a great runner, but to this point - to paraphrase the immortal Dennis Rodman - he's just another good NCAA guy.

Great post. I have to say that Lindgen was the one with most NCCA wins. Thanks for that info. I have things to learn.

Kennedy Kithuka and Stephen Sambu are not better than Lawi Lalang, because while they both beat him once, Lawi has beaten Kithuka before and has beaten Sambu multiple times.

Paul Ereng was better. Olympic gold is enough.

Lawi admitted that Kithuka is better than him. However, Lawi won his races this past weekened so easily, it was impressive.

It is not in any way close. It was as if KB at his peak were to be running NCAAs. Comparing Lawi to Rono is just plain silly.

Good point, wasn't Rono around 26 during the middle of his college career? Lawi is what 21? the appropriate age for a college student

Peter Rono, Paul Ereng, J. Cruz all WON OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALS while competing for US colleges. These guys move to the head of any list!

Lawi will have to win gold in Rio to join the list. Not happening!
