Alberto was not disgusted with Rod Dehaven (6th place in Boston 2001) time. Alberto was disgusted that people were "gushing" over a 6th place finish. He was disgusted that we as Americans could ever think that 6th place is good.
12 years later we should not accept a 9th place finish in Chicago as good.
Time is irrelevant. Courses are different, weather can be a huge variable but the NUMER ONE constant is place.
