I would like to call her my ex or my current...wonder what she looks like today..??..was his 2nd wife hot..?? typical LetsRun...thread starts out normal..ends up talking about hot chick..
I guess we are probably looking at at least a year for the book to be published..?
Randy or anybody know of a book out now about Bowerman..??..seems like such a giant figure....even better anybody here ever been coached by Bowerman and feel like sharing anything...??.
I believe there's some guy up in Beaverton, OR that run a little shoe company who used to run for Bill Bowerman. Maybe you can call him at 1-800-344-6453. Ask for Mr. Knight.
Does he take calls..??
I thought he would be crying over his star athlete who is caught in a drug maze..I am shocked they are using her in commercials....The commercial sucks
THe book is out, but you have to go the the Dallas Galleria Branes and Noble to get it. I just bought one of the first copies sold. That is so awesome. I can't wait to read it. A lot of pages.
It's been out for months, and Amazon could save you a drive to the Galleria.
I am to the part where Bill meets Coe. Awesome.
its a great book!
The best part is when Bowerman takes a piss on Phil in the shower. The good old days when you could piss on your athletes and still keep your job.
Great book. Didn't realize he contributed so much to so many different runners....basically every great US distance runner from the 60s through the 80s.
Alan
I bought and read the book over a year ago. You been in a coma for the past year or something?

I just sold my used copy of 'Bowerman' for 110 bucks on ebay.
after about 1969, dellinger was really doing the day to day coaching of the distance runners, not bowerman.
