quick comment....what athlete doesn't use whatever tool he or she can to get fired up? If we are honest with ourselves I would be everyone has felt like that sometime and reacted to improve their performance. Sometimes it is internal sometimes it is external.....everyone does it!
That being said, there is a lot of hate on here. There were some really good performances last weekend...Nova - and Oregon women 4 x800.Awesome race Oregon 4 x1500 - nice finish; PSU 4x800 and DMR etc.. Why don't we just give a big congrats to the kids......and programs that are doing well now, Track is hard- excellence is more difficult. Way to go.

Did you forget that you are posting on letsrun? Where the board is littered with posters who convince themselves that unless you are an Olympic Champ or world record holder you are a nobody in our sport.
Congratulate kids for just running well, what a stupid concept.
I agree. That program has really transformed from when I was in college. Kudos to the athletes and coaching staff at PSU!
