No one in America seriously considers Lalang a bona fide NCAA Division I athlete, so any times he realizes running in the US are irrelevant. He is a pro, of indeterminate age, recruited by an unethical Arizona coach, to create an uneven playing field in the American college distance running scene. Disgraceful, actually.
