I've seen her out on Sundays doing her long runs out by the Res, so she's getting her work in. And I did speak to her a few weeks ago, she said that the steeplechase really isn't her focus this season.

She's training. On her Twitter feed she talks about doing track workouts on Christmas day and doing long runs in the Boulder area. Outdoor track is still a ways off.
Granted, Cross Country and Indoor Track and Field have never been major international level sports.
But I wish she would at least run at some of our hundreds of All Comers meet in California during the Winter Hiatus.
Has Jenny run XC since her legendary fall from grace?
We'll, you could ask someone in Boulder. Maybe they would know.
Dumped on??? Three inches ain't dumped on brother. Call me when you get a foot.Must be a California transplant. Now, THAT'S what has dumped on in Boulder.

I'm from New England actually. I'm not a stranger to shitty, cold, dark, wet, depressing, winters. Boulder is pretty tame compared to where I'm from. it doesn't mean I enjoy it any more.
I was exaggerating, didn't think my syntax would be scrutinized.
But it was enough to freeze over many trails which is all I really care about.
Stanford claims she ran the mile at the UW invitational:

That was JEMMA Simpson! I sent them the correction several days ago, but I guess their version sounds better.

Except the day that it snowed, it was warm and sunny until after noon. And the day after it snowed, it was warm and sunny afternoon and the roads were dry. So, if you trained early on Monday and late on Tuesday, no problems.

Try again after you learn what "begging the question" means.

um, it definitely has not been warm on any of the days it has snowed this week
this will be my last post on this subject
She was at the Bowerman's and spoke about her transition back to Wetmore and her goals for the upcoming year. Which will include a return trip to the World Championships!
Uh, hello?!?! Rupp 10k??
Jenny Barringer is the luckiest woman on the planet. Not only that Uceny tripped, but that it was an insanely weak field.

Yadda, yadda, yadaa.

Ok the question begs; where in the world is Jenny B. Simpson? I haven't heard a peep about her all year. She seems to really hunker down and hide away.
Does anyone know what is going on with her since she went back to Boulder and Mark Wetmore?
It doesn't beg the question, it raises the question. These mean two very different things. Please learn the difference
I saw her last Sunday with Shalaya Kipp and Emma Coburn getting in a solid long run. She's looking good and strong, I'm excited to see what this year brings for her since coming back to Boulder under Wetmore's coaching.

Ah silly boy. Maybe you should come into the 21st century. Language changes, new words and phrases are added and accepted all the time. For your edification: here ya go?
More recently, "to beg the question" has been used as a synonym for "to raise the question": for example,
"This year's budget deficit is half a trillion dollars,
which begs the question: how are we going to balance the budget?"

Ignorant people misuse words and expressions that they don't understand every day. When you misuse the expression you are just showing that you are ignorant. That's helpful to others, but may not be the impression you want to give.
Getting back to the topic, according to her tweets, Jenny is just putting in lots of training miles in Boulder.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
