If not, where should they be ranked?
If not, where should they be ranked?
By the transitive property of college football, Texas A&M should be ranked second because they are the only team to beat Alambama.
No, they would be ranked first by the transitive property for beating the number 1 team. You're hella dumb.
Also, Notre Dame should probably be ranked somewhere between 10-20 but won't fall that far in the AP poll. Anyone who thought the BCSNCG would be close is a moron, a ND homer, or doesn't actually follow college football.
And Louisville ends up lower than Florida even though they just beat the sh-t outta them (and both teams have two losses). WTF?
No. The real national championship game was the first Saturday in December, the SEC championship game, just as it's been for the last seven years.

Actually a lot of college football writers had it being closer than the bookies did. I guess the bookies are idiots too...

This is the right answer.
The bookies job is to set a line that comes as close to 50-50 betting as possible. "Getting it right" would mean that 50% of the betters against the spread picked ND and 50% picked Alabama. If there are alot of ND homers willing to bet on their team, that could drive the line down.
