Ran the last 2.09 mile loop with all I had. 11:42.22.
5:35 pace. That was fun.

Congrats. Well done
Congrats! (Speech! Speech!)
Congratulations and thanks for posting this on lets run. It was fun.
Well done. Well done. Happy New Year!
I can go to sleep a happy girl now! Thanks for providing the best entertainment I have gotten at home thus far this winter break!
Thanks everyone! The only reason I was able to do this was because of the support of the LRC community. I love this site!
CONGRATS!!! 48 miles. One day. That is excellent!
awesome way to end the year. Congrats!

I really hope that your girlfriend recognizes/appreciates the feat that you have (almost) accomplished. If you were mine, those legs of yours would be feeling fresh...due to hourly grade A massages.
Lets go IAN!
She is great at massages. Sometimes she wakes me up by giving me a massage. At first I get mad because she woke me up, but then I'm all like, "This is better than being asleep."
I'm so damn tired right now everyone. I can barely type. If it wasn't for the red line under my misspelled words I would seem illiterate.
Good job brah.
Congrats!!!
wait, wasn't festivus last week? because you would have won, madre de dios, you would have won.
You my friend, are THE MAN.
I can hear the crowds shouting your name... ian IAN IAN!!!!!

well done Ian - that's what lrc is for.
We should try an organized one of these or something like it.we could organize a strava group so we can see all our miles being run in close to real time.
If three people do it, they'll think it's a movement...
Great job Ian. I'll look you up for a run in March when we hit GA again.
Random closing thoughts:
I had these shoes on for 24 hours now without taking them off. Never even had to re-tie them. Same socks. I was scared that if I took them off that I wouldn't put them back on. I also had the same pair of shorts on the whole time. I didn't take a shower because I probably would have lied down afterwards and not got back up.
My dad didn't know what I was doing until about 2pm. He got mad at me for going in and out the door all night. The two Rottweilers at the corner of 51st street and St Francis Ave barked at me the first few times they saw me, but after that they just stared in respect.
Every time I was out there on the 2 mile loop and feeling like crap, I would just think about all the people on the message board that I didn't want to disappoint. And that's what motivated me to get out the door every hour on the hour.
I don't have much else to say except you guys have made me feel awesome. And it feels great to be accepted by the Letsrun community.
Good night everyone! I'm going to be asleep for a long time.
