When i get to a period of training I start doing anaerobic workouts at mile pace for the 1600 in track. I want to know if doing this workout if last year as an 8th grader my 1600 pr was 5:06.00. would it be good to start out at 1:14 per 400 meters for 4 weeks before track season. And would 2:00 minutes be a good rest if you feel good.
