If you think it's an unfair advantage that the race is in an area with a climate like Portland, you must think it's a REALLY unfair advantage when the race is in an area like San Diego.
Portland is very near the average at this time of year for temperatures, and most of the nation at some point has a decent amount of rain (and it's only been raining about half of the yeras at NXN so far, which seems pretty fair).
I wonder what you'd be saying if they held the meet in a place where it actually is cold... for example the Midwest, the Northeast, or Alaska.
Nowhere is as hot as southern California and Florida this time of year. Get over it.
