Exactly.
Ladies, this is what happens when you eat the Taco Bell. PIGGY CITY!!! If you go over 1200 kcal, you've gone too far.
Dude it's D3 NO ONE CARES LOL
Have you ever seen diii runners? No one cares if any of them are overage, they are pretty pathetic as a whole. I was at a track meet and a girl threw the shot.....4 meters. That is worse than high school.

it's pretty clear that 27-year-olds have higher levels of natural endurance than 21-year-olds.
What, exactly, are the physiological changes that happen from 21 to 27 that "clearly" confer "higher levels of natural endurance"?
I've asked this before and never received a response, because the answer is: There is none.
Unless you want to talk about the physiological changes due to training. In which case I wonder how going through 2 pregnancies, even intermingled with training, would confer any advantage.
I am a 31-year old female with one young child. I have run consistently since age 15, gradually increasing mileage over time. My endurance has absolutely improved over this period - I have no idea whether this improvement is attributable to "natural aging" or increased mileage. Probably the latter. That said, I was able to run throughout my entire pregnancy, and returned to running pretty much immediately after, and it was probably two years from the day I became pregnant until I returned to pre-pregnancy running form. So, two years of credit per kid is completely legit. Plus, my speed is wayyyyy worse now. So, all in all, my opinion (completely unscientific) opinion is that her age is not much of an advantage.

Runners have an odd sense of what "beefy" is...
Although your handle sounds like a girl's name so I'm guessing you're just jealous.

I've had a recurring dream that I'm back on my college and training with the team for one more season, but decades older now. Gives me the willies. Fortunately, I haven't had that dream in a couple years.
OMG, I have that recurring dream, too! - I quit before using my last year of eligibility. Then I wake up and realize my 45 year old body couldn't handle it. I need to find a D3 school to take night courses at!
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
