How will Lance pay back the $$$ that he has forfeited?

What about the money he made in winning libel actions? Is he going to pay that money back?

This is something I don't really understand either. How does the USADA have any power to strip Armstrong of any of his titles? On the official Tour de France website they still have Armstrong listed as x7 tour de France winner. To me this all seems like one big publicity stunt but with no actual repercussions..

The USADA would never be entitled to his forfeited winnings. Talk about a conflict of interest. Also keep in mind the title stripping is not official.

He can pay for it our of his checking account.

Better question, when LA beats this and wins his deformation suit against USADA, where are they going to get the money to pay him? The Taxpayer?

Well, I'm not sure he could win a defamation suit against USADA at this point since he really didn't contest their allegations. I suppose he could have said he was going to fight them AND file his own suit, but he didn't . . .

He doesnt have to pay back any money.

Its probably going to come from his Cancer foundation. He put a lot of his own money into it, and its been earning interest.

They can't take his house, or his ex-wifes, if he does have a lot of money in the bank, a U.S bank hence USADA, they could take that but it all depends on his legal situation. They also can't touch any trusts he has set up in his kid's names. This fight isn't over in the slightest, just the ability of USADA to spill tons of sh*t all over Lance.

Lance is fine financially, it will be very hard for USADA to get the money. It will probably cost them more to get it than they will get.

Many people believe he is guilty

Many people believe he is innocent

Many people don't care either way

If all the money put into this case was directed to education programs for High school and College athletes then the flow on effect of dopers would considerably drop in the USA. There are 10000's more teen dopers in the USA than doping elite athletes.

What is worse?

And who told you this? He fought a lawsuit to get the $5,000,000 or so bonus from that promotion Company in which he trashed the Andreus. Probably didn't want to fight these allegations so he would not perjure himself and actually face criminal charges. But I am sure the promotion Company will come back now and expect repayment of that money. I mean, he now did not win those titles so he would likely have to forfeit that prize money as well.

Lance up a creek without a paddle. Lots of people he has trashed over the years that may want retribution.

I think the idea was the UCI would not follow through and strip Armstrong. IF that happened, they he would argue that means USADA's case is wrong and sue for deformation.

Waiting for someone to retire and then attack him is deformation enough.

Point is he has not been deformed in any way by USADA. Not to mention there's no such thing as a deformation suit.

Perhaps he has been defamed? Maybe that is the word to use considering some other moron already made the same mistake. And as far as a defamation suit goes, he will never win. All the USADA has to do is have people testify that Lance was doped to the gills and he will lose. Nothing wrong with saying a doper is a doper.
