In the past I have used the Lunar Racer for tempos and the streaks for track work. The Lunar Racers are good except I feel every small rock or root in them. What Nike flat would be recommended for rocky, uneven terrain?

There are training flats and racing flats. "Flat" is a general term that encompasses both, as opposed to spikes.
C'mon, who refers trainers as flats?
Everyone knows that any shoe with a relatively flat bottom can be referred to by the running community as a "flat".
Brooks Beast - FLAT
Reebok Runtone - NOT A FLAT

Wow. You are extremely stupid.
A flat is any RACING SHOE that does not have spikes in it.
Nike Waffles are flats.
I agree the Nike Lunar Speed Lite Plus is the best shoe out there, but it has been discontinued. Do you know what has replaced it?

the nike zoom streak xc 2, 3, LT (all the same) is the best nike flat in the world.
First off I didn't realize this was an old thread, secondly does the zoom streak have better cushion than the Frees? Just curious since my daughter likes the 3.0 versus me liking the 5.0.
I have ran in the lunar spiders and the zoom xc. The lunar spiders have a really small platform and I found them to be very taxing on the calves. The zoom xc is a great shoe for xc and the road also. Ive had my zoom xc for 3 years now and they still run great surprisingly. Other than that I have yet to run in a decent Nike shoe. The frees are good for walking around.
I own over 70 pairs of shoes and only 2 of them are Nikes. The other brands are much much better in my opinion. I stick with NB asics and adidas. Saucony makes a good shoe as well but I don't care for their flats.
I would never buy Nike.

Obviously it just depends on your age and/or what part of the country you reside.
I've been running in Northern California since 1976.

Am I the only one that thinks this thread was started by a marketing intern?
It's absolutely genius marketing. Imply in the title that if you train in a flat, you need a certain brand.
10/10. Great marketing plant. Good job. Lots of biters too (or the OP talking to herself).
