Irony.
Your last line describes exactly the self centered attitude you are pooping on.
As if we'd know who you are and care who you are.
But I do have people who give me the shits, so maybe you are one of them.
And a thesaurus or dictionary would be a great investment.

Really?!?
A morman?
From the video: from 800 start line to finish line I got 47.8 three times.
Anybody who thinks you take a split from handoff to handoff is completely freaking stupid.
The correct way to take a 400m split on the second leg is from the ONE-TURN STAGGER line because (listen carefully here) the runner cuts in after ONE TURN.
If you take the split from the 400m start line, you have taken it too late. Think about it logically. If you are in lane seven, running an open 400m, do you run the same path as somebody who runs the second leg of a 4x400m from lane seven? Of course not. The open runner has to run two turns in that lane, while the relay runner only has to run one turn in that lane (the other in lane one).
So, African King is absolutely 100% correct here. And you all apparently misread his post about "adding" time. He isn't saying that he arbitrarily added that time. He is saying that the time is INCORRECT to that degree.
3 Types of splits:
1. Center of the zone to center of the zone.
2. Hand off to hand off.
3. Adjust the 2nd leg for the cut in.
They all have their pros and cons.
A very knowledgeable person at the meet had Felix at 48.1 (hand off to hand) with out adjusting for the cut in. Felix got the baton slightly before the mid-point in the zone, but handed off slightly past the mid-point in the zone, therefore she could have run a stide or 2 short of or over 400. Seems like she could have split somewhere between 47.8 to 48.2 depending on how you measure. Btw, I don't think Felix's split needs this much discussion becasue there are serveral women who have run faster splits and Felix always runs the best split and relays.
A more important question is why did Richards run conservatively with a 15 meter lead?
What the hell are you talking about? If you want to include all the wrong ones, there are 500 kinds of splits. There is only one accepted way of taking splits and that is line to line, which is almost always finish line to finish line but in this case is - as has been stated - 800 meter start stagger to finish line. You time the baton, not the person.

Trotter 50.5
Felix 47.8 !!!!
McCorory 49.39
Richards-Ross 49.10
So who determines the 'official' or correct method of measuring splits in a relay?
If you are timing the baton how are you getting an accurate split for each individual runner? Couldn't the runner's splits be different than the baton's splits (depending on where the hand-off took place)?
What is so disappointing about these amazing runners????? Sanya Richards-Ross has the American Record for the 400m and is the seventh fastest in the word ever and no one has ran faster than her pr after she ran it in 2006. Allyson Felix is the 4th best 400m runner in American History and the 17th best in the world ever. She is also the third fastest American ever in the 200m and the 6th fastest in the world ever and is apart of the WR relay for the 4x100m. Although LoLo Jones' reign over hurdles is over she is the 9th fastest American in 100m hurdles ever and she is the 16th fastest ever. They are some of the most humble people that you will ever meet so try again. Also they are American Citizens so how are they not American?? If they arent American the hat are they because last time I checked no one in America is "American" except for the Native Americans and I bet if everything about them was the same except their race and they were white then you would feel the opposite of how you feel now. Go learn American history again because it obvious that you need to.
You mad, bro?
She has a very nice split
