hi guys.
my problem righ now is that i havent run in a while. i had about a year and a half of not doing sports at all. then one day i started runnning and i loved it.
at the beginning i was just doing speedwork and some really easy runs(less than 3 miles each day) for a total mileage of about 14 miles a week.
when i was a kid i used to be the fastest in short distances and long distances but somehow now i suck at both,even more in the long ones.
my questions is if i add more miles to my training will that benefit for my long distances? but when i go for a long run i get tired so fast. and i cant run more than 5 miles at a decent pace
my times 400m: 58 seconds
800m: 2:24 (this is my worst race and i will never run it again)
2 miles:13 mins
5k: 20 mins
what do you recommend stay on the short distances ? add more miles and see what happens?
please i need your advise
