He might injured. Hate to say. But scratches are probably most often due to that.

thanks for that expert analysis bro.
when is webb's contract up?

Huh. I'd forgotten about that.

It was pretty obvious that those videos were just promotions and they were not actually going to run.
chuckleheads. I'm pretty sure his kid is here, that's why he has scratched.
Have you noticed the light elf-like Rupp rarely gets injured.

He let you down? What the heck does his race have to do with you?
You are unaware with the concept of fandom?
If Alan had seen the light back when he beat Rupp in a5k and moved up to the 5000 right now he would be our top 5000 meter man.

He has his priorities straight. Family first.
I seriously hope you're joking. The guy needs to work to feed the baby. There is no better opportunity for him to bring food on the table than to focus on his job, ie running.
I doubt seriously that the baby will be eating from the table any time soon!
webb's on the welfare ?
He's a miler

You think he'd be faster than Lagat, who moved up and is *still* 5 seconds faster than Webb over 1500?
How many top 5000 meter runners can't run faster than 3:37?
I agree. Webb is a miler. Not sure why he was going to run the 5km. I hope he gets a Trials top 3 and A qualifier.
Webb's wife filing away !

He would have been TRAINED for the 5000. His 1500 meter training actually made him SLOWER over 1500 because he lost his anaerobic ability.
Webb KILLING IT
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BZvfkk7-5Y&list=PLFFAB3F195167FBE4&index=24&feature=plpp_videoYep, family obligations are what's going to keep Webb out of the Olympics. LMAO.
Who cares? His chances of making the US 5k team weren't any better than his chances of making it in the 1500.
Your life sounds fairly sad & pathetic if that's what it takes to let you down. Perhaps you should attempt to accomplish something independent of others, maybe move out of your parents spare bedroom for a start and find a job.

Oh, you mean the guy who has had the same excellent coach since 9th grade? OTOH Nick Symmonds is the closest in build to Webb and is rarely laid up.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
