Russia is dirty as hell, but seriously, the number of banned U.S. people is a disgrace. Shame.

No suspensions at all for Germany? I thought theres were like one or two cases.
Simret Restle has been caught with EPO. Her original excuse: She has injected her mother-in-law's medicament by accident. *rolleyes*
No final verdict on her case yet, though. However, she's far from world class with PBs of 15:28 in the 5k, 32:41 in 10k
I'm shocked that India has 23 people in the testing pool. What event are those people in?
Here are the 10 from the USA. I've never heard of any of them before.

YOUNG Jerome USA M AAF – EPO (2nd offence) 23.07.04 Life ban Life ban
Lukezic was a 3:33 guy. His ban is a disgrace, since he refused a test 6 months AFTER retiring. So knock the US's total down to 9.
Mark Block isn't an athlete, he's an agent.
Raymond Stewart was banned when he was coaching. He competed as an athlete for Jamaica, not the US. I'm not even sure if he's a US citizen.
Why are Crystal Cox and Jerome Young listed? I don't think either one has competed since 2004.
Could a list of bans/suspensions, at least from the US point of view, be more worthless?
At least one is a masters athlete, a couple more haven't competed in nearly a decade, one is a coach who may or may not be a citizen.
India has 23 suspensions? What events are these guys in?
The countries that test have athletes on the list. Those that don't do not.

Expressing the numbers as a ratio of doping suspensions to unit of population penalizes smaller countries, so I have split the countries with three or more suspensions into groups of similar population size. Doping suspensions per athletics participation size would be a better measurement, but I don't know where that kind of info is readily available.
This would need a more thorough statistical analysis, but as a rough guide:
>1 Billion
India – 1 per 53 million
China – 1 per 168 million
100 million – 350 million
Russia – 1 per 9 million
U.S.A. – 1 per 31 million
WOW only 1 out of 31 MILLION people in the USA cheat, we really are a very honest, moral and ethical people, this shows our peoples commitment to sportsmanship and fairplay.
it is a shame that the 1 out of 31 million who look for an unfair advantage get so much attention.
i guess with these numbers it is more likely to win the lottery than to come across an american who cheats.
