I know you are looking at distance. What event? 800, mile, 5k, steeple. What do you see yourself running in college. Then look at what the girls who have run for those schools run in those events and what kind of times they had coming into the program. You want to see improvement off of high school times not just maintenance and definitely not slowing down of times. Like I think someone said earlier UNT sent 2 girls to the ncaa first round in the 1500 so if you are a miler maybe this is a decent option.
^^^^Like what this guy said. You want to go to a program where the athletes improve. Baylor I know, has not improved athletes. Some have slowed.
UNT is up and coming for distance. 2 to NCAA regionals. Clearly they have a solid distance group for you to develop with. International recruits like Holly Emery who as raced world xc and world chiba ekiden indicates the program is decent.
