I think that order is pretty spot on actually. I would just put Navy ahead of 'Gate. LU LC and BU are really all interchangeable and American is definitely on the bottom and not really in the same tier as the rest.
If you want to get really fancy where do you put Georgetown and Fordham for PL football?
academically or athletically?
Definitely not athletically.

I thought Navy went for the money and joined the Big East.
Excluding the 2 academies, it's:
Lehigh
Colgate
Bucknell
Holy Cross
Lafayette
American
I a have a vested interest here, but you really can't find a conference other than the ivies that compares to this one. American is really the only school in here that's not super hard to get into, and it's not a shabby place at all.
I ended up in the NESCAC ultimately, but out of all the kids that applied to these places from my school over the past few years I would say this is pretty close. I've found that the service academies are extremely finicky, however, but I guess all schools are in their own way with admissions. I thought Lehigh was by far the coolest and Colgate the most beautiful campus. I got really weird vibes from Army and Bucknell, but I may just have visited on bad weekends. Really awesome schools overall though.
