Do you really think there aren't plenty of examples to counter your stupid argument?
Go look at UVA's roster. Or, go look and see how UNC is doing. Sure, there will be cases that go both ways, but you are an idiot if you think that just cause one athlete improved somewhere else, his previous coach must have sucked.
watson may not suck as a coach but wetmore is better.
I say Hurysz is still on his post honeymoon high! So often when a athlete makes a change to a new environment, new coach, etc. the simple excitement alone brings some nice performances.
Let's see how his XC season goes. Definitely a talent.
Huryz says in the post-race that Colorado is "another level" of quality compared to UNC.
Hurtsz was quite diplomatic in his interview. I like his outlook and attitude.
He isn't lying...
The Wetmore magic.
[ agree. Look out for CU next year.

CU is my favorite to win it all next year. With the rumored addition of Cabral, Hurysz looks to be a legitimate glowstick if he keeps improving the way he has, Bosshard, Van Halen stepping on the scene with an 8:42 steeple PR, and if Moussa makes the jump that everyone expects him to. Not sure about there depth but i'm sure Mark will find someone on that roster to step up and be a future All-American.

Good program and great place to train.

bosshard just had surgery today, I wouldn't count on him being 100% this fall
So Hursyz will have Sophomore eligibity in both tracks next year? wow
Cross a Junior?
you know what would be really impressive? if he ran 3:41
I see his limit at 3:42. Can't see him under the barrier.
Three years of consistent improvement for this guy 8:49 as a high school senior. Then first year at UNC 3:45 1500 8:01 3000 (top NCAA freshmen) and PanAm junior 5000m champion.
Now in his second year out of high school he has qualified for the NCAA cross country championships as an individual and now at Colorado runs 3:43 and 13:38 (top US sophmore) Ilike his progression and his potential. Coach Wetmore is going to do great things with this guy
Are the rest of the UNC guys staying put?
