Judging from this week, what times would you have me shoot for next saturday in the 1600/800?
Mo:2mile w/u plyo's, strides, 1000m pace work at goal mile pace (2:50, felt alright) to 1.25 mile jog to 5 200's in 32, 1 mile cooldown.
Tu: 7 mile medium effort fartlek finishing the last 800 in 2:24
We:4 mile easy run + strides
Thu:Monday's warm up to 3 600's in 1:40 each with 3 minute recoveries, 1 mile jog, then 3 200 strides at 30 seconds each
I'm taking the rest of the week in stride with a long run and an easy short speed workout.
Also, what times could I possibly achieve at state in May after I taper?
