Yes, they are legit - sold in the Asian market. I am running in a pair of the Lunarspider LT+2 tonight; I have a pair of the Zoom Speed Lite+ in a box upstairs. The Lunarspider R is sold in the US, but there are more colors available in the Asian market.
you mean the nike Lunarspider LT+'s? They weigh 6.9 oz... the normal lunarspiders are a better choice.
Lunar Spider LT is a trainer. Lunar Spider R is a racing flat.
Pretty much, you are right.....the LT is a fast-pace trainer that may suit some for longer races (I've used them for training, track intervals, and longer races) where the R is a true racing shoe. The Zoom Speed Lite is close to the Lunarspider LT, but somewhat stiffer. Any other opinions?
what is the diff between the speed lite and spider LT??? they look similar....thanks dave
whoops, hadn't reloaded thread before post. thanks calsnailer. is the LT anywhere as soft/supple as the lunaracer? thanks
The LT is pretty flexible but has a firmer feel; not as "squishy" as the Lunaracer. The Zoom Speed Lite is stiffer than both. I should get a pair of the new Lunarspeed Lite+ today, and can compare that shoe later.
NIKE markets different shoes in the European and Asian markets and different colorways than the US. When I ran for Asics, they ordered us racing flats for the Japanese market that weren't marketed in the US. You could tell the big difference between US/Japanese. Weight, colors, materials...much better shoe. I wish I still had them.
