I need some insight from across the country on how different states handle the issue of homeschool kids wanting to participate in track and cross country at the junior high and high school levels. Several states allow a homeschool kid to join a public/private school in their district, however, are there any states that specifically allow homeschool TEAMS to compete against the public/private schools?
I'm not looking for concerns or issues about homeschooling and athletic participation... (yes, I know Tim Tebow was a homeschool kid). I specifically need to know how the different state interscholastic athletic organizations handle this issue.
