I am perplexed at why Tebow's faith is so threatening to so many. Look, I am not a Christian and this stuff is not my cup of tea, but with all of the antics of NFL players, this guy's endless drone about his faith puts him pretty low on the poor conduct list. Put another way, I really don't care about his professions of faith - they are taken only as serious as the viewer wants them to be.
I am fascinated by his immense athletic talent. Note I say athletic talent, because I am not sure he really has top level NFL quarterback talent, at least as it has been defined or is practiced by the top players (Brady, the Mannings, Rodgers, et. al). He is a guy if slotted early on to play tight end or linebacker would have been very successful. But he chose quarterback, and to his credit, has stuck with it at the pro level - not an easy thing to do given his lack of traditional skills (his throwing motion is painful to watch).
In any event, he makes games exciting, and is an excellent red zone threat because when he runs the team gets an additional blocker.
