Too funny .. I was going to post the same, albeit a few details:

- lazy college chicks (some not yet fat, but on their way)

- Same girls would sit for a 3 hr evening class, remain seated during the 2 breaks, then ride the elevator down 2 floors.

- There was a nice wide, well lit starwell 10 feet away, with lots of people- no reason to avoid it.

You're accumulating $400-600 a year in coins?! Does everything you buy cost a couple cents more than a round number?

Personally, I use my coins to buy things, so my net coin flow is roughly zero. I haven't had to take coins to the bank (or Coinstar) since I was a kid. But that's not about laziness, that's just obsessiveness.

Random aside (just to make sure I'm really off-topic): I lived in Australia for a couple of years. They've abolished the penny there. It's so wonderful. I'd be thrilled if I never saw a penny again. Even better, the law states that all prices displayed must be the final price INCLUDING any taxes. You walk into a store, see something that costs $2, take $2 out of your pocket, pay for it, and leave. None of this $1.99 plus tax is $2.07, and now you're getting a pocketful of coins back...

Using a gps EVERYWHERE you go should be counted as lazy.

I often do this because the GPS provides your speed and tells the speed limit. I can now see my speed without needing to look off the road at the dashboard. It's much safer.

How long does it take you to take your eyes of the road and onto the speedometer on the dashboard?

Longer than it does to glance at something that allows me to keep most of my vision on the road. Plus, it's closer to my rearview mirror, so instead of bouncing my view between three places, it's more like two places. I know you have "geezer" in your name, but new =/= bad. Dagnabbit.

People at the airport who STAND STILL on the moving walkways. It's like, really?

Worse are the ones who block everybody else's ability to walk on the moving walkway. Because of these lazy (and inconsiderate) people, I just opt for walking next to the moving walkway and I can always make better time than the lumps on the walkway.
