I am a 16 year old junior and I have just finished up my cross country season and am wondering what to do for winter training in order to get ready for track. I recently quit swimming in order to run more in the off-season, and I don't know what to expect from an extra season of training. Anybody have any advice. In a nine week summer I get in roughly 400 miles and love to train fast, this is also the only time I am allowed to acquire a base. My goals this year are 4:25 in the mile, 9:45 in the 2 mile, and sub 2 minutes in the half-mile. Are these realistic? I need a high-mileage and tough training program**
