How is the course out in Lehigh looking with the weather? I have heard that it has been raining there for a few days now. Can somebody who is there possibly give me, and all of the other interested participants, an update on the course conditions?

fast
It hold water very well. Just don't go out too fast, you pay for it mile 4-5. Mile 2-3 can be a little muddy, but even in the mud, the course is faster than most. Results last year were in a week of mud.
It is in pretty good condition.
Alright, the course is pretty good for the most part. The lower lying areas are a little soggy, especially where there's some newly laid wood chips. Mile 2-3 is always the muddiest. As long as it doesn't downpour between now and Friday it's gonna be very fast.
First mile is epic.
Haven't even run it yet and you're already complaining about a Short course.
why don't they just lengthen the course?
Like the Penn State course you mean?

It's cross country, not track. The only thing that matters is your place!

well then why do they call it a short course
any updates?
We just ran the course and its pretty muddy. There aren't a lot of areas with standing water, but its very slippery. The area of the men's course near the 3rd and 4th miles are the worst. Footing in those back fields is pretty bad.
Slow...times will be similar to last year...30 seconds slower than if it was dry
