I guess those schools did not like the way
the super conferences were headed. I feel for schools like
G'twn, Nova, PC and maybe even ND. Where are they going to go?
With the demise of the Big East and Big 12.
The addition of Syracuse to the ACC will have
more of an impact on the X-C side and Pitt to a lesser
extent on the track side.
Florida State will now have more of an challenger in
Syracuse when it comes to X-C on both the men's and women's sides.
If the ACC get UConn and Rutgers, the ACC will likely
go to a North and South format. In effect it will look a lot like the Big East of old, but with Maryland in the picture along with SU, BC, Pitt, Rutgers and UConn...I'm sure they'll have to adjust it with other teams as well.
