at this moment mine is 48-50. I can walk out the door and run about a 16:00 5k.
usually 46 in the morning but today was 52 when I got up but I ran 100k in high heat/humidity over the weekend so obviously not recovered.
42.
39 is the lowest its ever been.
I normally find that my heart-rate is lower during an nap than it is when i wake up in the morning.

A lower number is not necessarily better. It could mean an enlarged heart. Kind of like what Ryan Shay had.
My friend who run 90mpw only has a resting HR of about 55. his max is 210+.
An enlarged heart isn't necessarily bad. Depends on why it is enlarged. In general, I though most endurance athletes had enlarged hearts. I do.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athletic_HeartA nice, healthy 68 suckers.
I was getting some jabs done the other week and the nurse panicked when she checked me at 32. She didn't believe her equipment and checked me manually for the same result. I'm only quite good runner though!

It seems pretty low. I would suggest getting an ECG done. Just for the peace of mind.

BullSh*t. Not possible unless you've got major health problems.

You obviously don't know what you're talking about.
I used to consistently hit 35-36 during heavy loads of training/racing and I was in good shape. Used to always be in the upper 30s but currently in the low to mid 40s.
Mid-30's is typical for me. Lowest I've ever measured over 60 seconds was 29. Been that way since I started paying attention (30 years ago). And I'm not particularly fast (18min 5k guy).
last XC season mine was at 29. I recorded that at night, i had been laying down watching tv for about 3 hours, and was very very sleepy. almost drifting off...i figured id check it before i fell asleep just for kicks and it was 29. 2 days ago, after waking up normally (without an alarm) it was 34...im not particularly fast either - mid to low 16s for 5k.
35 bpm resting.
233 bpm max.
84 mL/min/kg VO2max
32 L/min max cardiac output.
100mL resting stroke volume.
My heart is a beast. I'm just waiting for my legs to catch up...
I am always is the 60s. So what? Heartrate is mostly genetic. I win more races than I lose.
lowest ive gotten is 39. im usually around 42. i have never run over 50 miles in a week, and when i do run my training miles they are all 7:00 to 7:30 pace.
Right now it was 66. 5k pr is 14:24. F uck heartrate!
when I was hooked up to all the machines about to have my wisdom teeth removed, I had my heart rate at 47. I thought it would be much higher, just given the situation I was in. A few minutes later when the oral surgeon walked with his tools, my heart rate tripled, then they put me under.

My min and max were similar to yours when I was 19, but I haven't had the others measured. I'm 30 now.
My resting is somewhere in the mid 30s. Max seems to be about 205-210 now. A couple weeks ago my pulse was 38 when I was walking around a drugstore and sat down at a blood pressure reader. I'm 6'2, 185, and don't think I could run 10k much faster than 45min right now. I was an explosive 200m/400m type of guy, but now I just play volleyball.
