That is silly. Throwing up DOESN'T control weight. You still absorb for the time that it's in your stomache. I would strongly advise against that, at all costs. Just don't eat as much, or eat food that you wont feel guilty about.
Please don't.

Anyway, doesn't that rot your teeth? I'm pretty sure I heard that somewhere.
Kinda like jerking off will make you go blind right? I've been jerking it for almost 20 years. Yeah I may wear thick glasses but I'm not blind.
Yes, frequent vomiting wears away enamel, making your teeth more cavity prone. It's a fact.
Maybe you could avoid eating a "huge meal" in the first place?

Lara: How do I look?
Lauren: You look kind of skinny, actually.
Lara: Skinny, really? Bulimic skinny or anorexic skinny?
Lauren: What's the difference?
Lara: Bulimic skinny passes for healthy, except your teeth rot. But my teeth aren't rotting, so...
Lauren: So you look bulimic skinny.
Or you could go f*** yourself. Of all the self-absorbed bullshit I've heard from my fellow overfed, lazy Americans, this is the dumbest. People starve every day, and you're so f***ing full of yourself that you actually contemplate regurgitating food simply because you can? I hope you choke on a turkey leg and die.
shut the f*** up. if that was a serious reply, you obviously have no idea what an eating disorder entails, as every bulimic i know would stop in an instant if she could. it's not about doing it "simply because you can." it's because you feel you HAVE to. digestion is not an option, depending on what you eat or on how long you've been doing it. you may just start throwing up because you can't keep it down even if all you've eaten is a hershey's kiss.
to the original poster, don't start. it's not worth it. you won't lose weight or maintain weight, most likely you will gain. you eat "a lot" then think hey, i'll just throw it up. you have absorbed some of the calories already and at the beginning you likely won't be very proficient at getting all the food up. once it does become that way, you'll start "meal" and think well if i've already f***ed it up this much already, might as well go the whole nine yards and eat twice as much. then you'll puke...then you'll think god i'm not doing that again for awhile. ten minutes later you're hungry again. an hour later you eat again. then throw up again.
everyone thinks they'll never get to a point like that, but it most certainly does happen.
