I am a volunteer coach for three younger high school girls in a small community in the upper Midwest. All three of them seem to have the same issues ... solid endurance, little closing speed and inconsistency. They run anywhere from just below 16min for 4k to just slightly above. They got a solid yet unspectacular base over the summer of 25-40 mpw. I feel that all three can run 15:30 by our state meet since it is quite fast and flat. Please help me set them up to peak at the right time. Here is our remaining 6-week schedule:
