A decent amount of NCAA runners are running 100 mile weeks right now. As mentioned before there are probably atleast a few on every halfway decent team. I'm sure there are some teams with 10 or more. That said most runners in the NCAA are not running that much but my rough guess is that 600-700 D1 runners and 300 or so D2/3/naia/jc guys running that type of volume so we'll say 1000.
1000 college runners at over 100 mpw. Not a chance.
Remember the following.
1) School has started as have meets.
2) Most d1 teams are pretty terrible. I'd be stunned if there was an average of 1 per team. I'd also be stunned if there was a single NCAA team with anything close to 10 guys. Maybe 10 that have done it once this summer. MAYBE. But last week? No chance.
I have no idea how many people use the log running2win but they list 7 guys on the site over 100 last week and zero women.
