As far as I know my high school's (Watsonville HS) records are:
800- 1:54.xx (1981, not sure if this is 800m or 880y)
mile- 4:13.4 (1965)
2-mile- 9:17.3 (1971)
The runner that probably had the most success after high school doesn't hold any of these records. His name is Armando Siqueiros. Most people probably know him more for being Jordan Hassay's high school coach. He ran for UC Santa Cruz I believe. I think he was DIII champ or came very close to winning it. He won the Wharf to Wharf at least once as well. According to my high school coach (who coached Siqueiros about a decade before) Siqueiros either qualified or came close to qualifying for the 1984 US Olympic trials in both the 1500 and 5,000. These are 25 year old fuzzy memories so I may be off on the facts a bit.
