In the mid 2000’s I horded three pairs of Montrail's Leona Divide trail running shoe. The last pair is finally thrashed beyond repair. I've tried on dozens of modern trail running shoes, looking for a suitable replacement, but can't get that same feel. I loved the Montrail Leona Divide because of its wrap around tongue, the full length rock plate, and the multidirectional lugs. I especially enjoyed feeling that I was running in the shoe and not on top of it. I'm big for a runner, at 195 pounds, but not fat and in good enough shape to really enjoy multi hour trail runs. Any suggestions for a suitable replacement?
