As much as I can tell these are just like the originals? Anyone still run in them?

When they were first released they were 7.2 oz in size 9. So does that mean everyone back before the 80s were minimalists? How many miles could yo put on them?
I think they were the waffle racers used for xc racing mostly. They were a very narrow fit. Don't remember many using them on the roads or for practice other than speed work.
A girl in one of the clubs in my hometown ran a marathon in these, which amazed everyone. There were pretty good for cross country, but not much else. And they were crazy narrow directly under the arch so if you had any biomechanical oddities to your footplant they were a nightmare. And yes, we were all minimalists back then, except for those of us running in the LD 1000s.
I would make them more of a collectors item then race in them...
