Her face looks more manly by the month. HGH.
Morgan strikes me as beautiful in all ways- super nice person, talented and fast, down to earth, great mental discipline, and her body is an absolute gift from the athletic gods. Pretty damn perfect.
GO MORGAN!

who is her boyfriend?
There are idiots galore on these boards and jealous wannabee's. That is the reason for the idiotic comments. Uceny has shown promise and 800 and is now coming into her own at the 1,500, which I think suits her better. Some of the haters better watch out. I think we may have a medalist here in the Olympics.
Love that Uceny got no mention at all from the announcers when they talked about the competition. Skipped right over her (as they did some others) to focus on the legit competition. Oops.
Is this one of the gorillas?

If so, gorillas are fine!
Gorillas? Really? The racism on Letsrun is reaching new heights all the time. I'm sure when you decided to use the term gorillas you meant Derval O'Rourke and Lisa Urech, too.
For whatever it's worth, the first three women behind Pearson (Danielle Carruthers, Tiffany Ofili-Porter, and Virginia Powell-Crawford, to say nothing of the rest of the field) all strike me as being blessed with physiques equally "perfect" to that of Uceny.
Anyway, this is taking away from celebrating a great performance by Uceny, so congratulations to her on the win. She's certainly having a great year so far. I hope she continues this streak through Daegu.
I think by gorillas he was talking about Semenya. She's so much bigger than everyone it's crazy.
He was talking about his mom and sister who were both holding the runners warmup baskets behind the starting blocks.
Bio says she ran 4:02 last year.
Actually, I was talking about the three women (Danielle Carruthers, Tiffany Ofili-Porter, and Virginia Powell-Crawford) who looked like they had anabolic steroids oozing out their pores. You had to watch them line up before the race and ignore old photos of them when they weren't on the juice. The way they looked today, especially the second place finisher--there was a time you couldn't find deltoids that massive anywhere except on a heavyweight boxer. Their traps were bulging as well. If the term "Gorilla" was inaccurately applied, it is only because Gorillas generally achieve their physiques naturally.
By contrast, there is nothing unnatural about Uceny's physique. She is a physical marvel,to be sure, but not a testosterone-enhanced man-woman with deltoids like basketballs. As for the race issue, compare their physiques to Alyson Felix (totally clean) or a pre-steroid era runner like Wilma Rudolph.
To sum up:
Uceny: perfection. The ideal of what can be achieved naturally.
Carruthers: Steroidal mutant from Planet of the Apes.
Funny that the one guy in the race couldn't keep up.
Uceny is smart and businesslike and unflustered, and her progression is in no way unusual. She's managed to be healthy. That's the story.
Go Morgan!
Uceny ran smart and was in place when the kicking started but a lot of the field must not have been 100%. Semenya isn't a 1500 runner anyway, but she hasn't looked the same since she's been back. Idk what the story is with Jamal dropping back like that but look like she's injured or way out of shape.

Tiffany Ofili-Porter? Am I not seeing the drastic change you wrote about between her college days and now?

Nice going today! Only American in the mid+ distances after USAs. Props to her.
Ah, yes. You can "see" that those three women are doping because "they looked like they had anabolic steroids oozing out of their pores." What about the posters who've looked at Uceny and believe she is doping based on her appearance? Are they just looking at her incorrectly? Do they simply lack your ability to spot dopers based on their appearance on the television or computer screen? How did you decide that Uceny is "perfection. The ideal of what can be achieved naturally?" Who determined this ideal? Does this ideal apply to both sprinters and distance runners, two groups that would seem to have slightly different requirements in terms of physique?
I'm actually less disturbed by your argument about doping and ideal physiques than by your assumption that referring to three women of colour as "gorillas" is in any way appropriate. I'm sure perpetuating racist discourse through language that has traditionally been used in the United States and in Europe to represent people of colour in such a way as to justify their exploitation and oppression by whites is fine. Of course, you were "only" using that language in the service of an argument about how you can tell by looking at certain athletes that they have doped and that other athletes achieved their physiques naturally.
N.B. I should mention that I do not think Morgan Uceny is doping. Nor do I think that any of the other women mentioned in this discussion (like Carruthers, Ofili-Porter, and Powell-Crawford) are doping.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
