fun week on my end, including:
M 1:10
Tu 2:10 double
W 1:30
Th 1:10 with 6 X 4:00 (2:00 jog) at 5k effort (came thru measured half-miles on bike path in average of 3:05)
F 1:20
Sa 1:00 + 1:00 x-t plus floor time chasing our 11-month old great niece around
Su 3:00 with 60:00 at marathon pace (came thru 8.5 miles at 58:25, which i think is just slightly over 3 hour marathon pace -- too quick, wrecked afterward)
i seem to have "gears" for running and am having some trouble finding current marathon pace. I can go maybe 10-15 sec/mile too fast, or i can slow way down, neither being optimal. Will need to keep working on it.
coronavirus panic is well-established here also -- first 3 cases in my county the other day. So far my main precaution has been to procrastinate preparing a talk I'm slated to give to 150 high school students and their teachers thursday -- don't want to work on it if they end up cancelling.
